Metro, an NBA sponsor, partnered with Giannis to bring fans an immersive experience, proving that only Metro connects fans closer to the NBA than anyone else.
We picked some of the NBA’s biggest social media influencers and created a simple, yet fun, game of H-O-R-S-E. The influencers were asked to challenge their followers for a trick shot in order to become their teammate. After weeks of submissions, these influencers picked 4 winners to join them in Oakland. Winners were awarded a meet-and-greet with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Video & Animation
In order to hype the one-of-a-kind game of H-O-R-S-E, we decided to use animation and video to create a buzz around the social activation. One for each particular event happening in the NBA.
Art Direction & Design
The basketball community is a culture interwind with hip-hop music.
Keeping this in mind, we needed to leverage the look-and-feel of this ever-evolving culture. The color scheme needed to be delicately dominated with the brand’s colors, tastefully. With the action photography of Giannis, adding grit and bold text we have a style that can be accepted and interweaved with the NBA culture. This art direction needed to be something the consumer will be proud to show as their screensaver, share, and engage in as well as receive the brand’s messaging clearly and effectively.

We dominated the digital realm with digital displays, social videos, animations, social media posts and stories. This is the go-to place for NBA fans on anything related to basketball: news, daily-life of NBA players, trades, discussions on forums, etc.
